José León Molfino, co-founder at Buenos Aires motion studio Stato, puts Houdini and Redshift through their paces in Deep Seeds, his brief but beautiful passion project complete with a masterclass-level breakdown reel.

José León Molfino: “This CG short film was made during my spare time between commercial jobs. Inspired by some amazing underwater footage of nudibranchs and the beauty of corals, I imagined a deep-sea world where the magic of a sea slug comes to life. The result is an immersive experience that invites you to explore the endless creative possibilities of the digital world.”
