Sport and Play Collide in Nike x LEGO Global Campaign by Colors And The Kids

Berlin studio Colors And The Kids just dropped us their quick and chaotic pop culture mash-up with Nike x LEGO joining forces for a global campaign designed to work on both mobile screens and massive billboards.

From the team at C A T K: “When Nike Kids Global approached us to create the hero announcement for their groundbreaking partnership with LEGO, the brief was clear: an iconic animation that merges the worlds of sport and play into an unforgettable composition and sound experience.

“The result is a colorful, kinetic world where the spirit of Nike and the whimsy of LEGO collide in surprising ways.”

“The result is a colorful, kinetic world where the spirit of Nike and the whimsy of LEGO collide in surprising ways. The film is further enhanced with bespoke music and sound design drawn from a library of LEGO brick clicks and the sounds of movement, sport, and play.

“The animation was designed for a broad rollout across digital platforms, with its reach extended through large-scale, out-of-home campaigns worldwide, including Los Angeles, New York, and Shanghai.

“This was an exciting challenge where we utilized real-time VR to test and identify any issues before launch. It also helped bridge the distance between our studio in Berlin and the billboard screens around the world, allowing us to get a sneak preview before the launch and ensure our calculations were perfect.”
