The creative industry’s MOST award opens for entries with four brand new categories reflecting the changing landscape of the creative world.
It’s the most creative time of the year once again; the Creativepool’s Annual 2024 is officially underway, inviting the industry and creatives from across the globe to showcase their most innovative and impactful work to our world class judges and a network of industry peers and industry leaders.
Now in its 11th year, the Creativepool Annual continues to set the standard for recognizing and celebrating creative excellence. Our global panel of brand marketers and agency leaders will pick through your entries, highlighting the very best for inclusion in what has become one of the creative industry’s most valuable tomes.
The Most Award
At the heart of the The Annual is its vision to be “The Most Award.” This title is a testament to Creativepool’s commitment to innovating the award space, creating diversity and recognition within the creative industry.
The inclusion of free categories, the provision of vital judges’ feedback, the People’s Choice awards, and, of course, The Annual being both a trophy and marketing piece, all contribute to what has become one of the industries most celebrated honours
2024, however, marks a particularly significant evolution for the Annual, with the introduction of four brand new work categories.
These categories not only reflect the changing landscape of the creative world but also acknowledge brand new emerging fields and innovative practices.
New Categories This Year
Art: Breaking new ground, this is the first non-commercial category for the Annual, acknowledging the purest, unadulterated form of creative expression.
Artificial Intelligence: In recognition of the burgeoning impact of AI in the creative sector (and the fact it’s going to take all out jobs), this category anticipates a future where AI reshapes creativity.
Self-Initiated: Because we all know the hardest briefs are your own, this category is dedicated to personal projects and celebrates the creativity and dedication it takes to bring self-conceived ideas to life.
Spatial Design: Recognising the importance of the spaces we live and work in, this category celebrates innovative design in the physical realm.
Additionally, two new award categories have been added: Network of the Year and Design Agency of the Year. These categories aim to recognize and honour the collective efforts of teams that have made significant contributions to the creative industry. You can view all The Annual categories here.
More Than Just an Award
The Creativepool Annual is not just an award, but a celebration of creativity, maintained on a platform dedicated to professional growth. If you want to be a part of the industry’s most award, the Annual extends a warm invitation to both newcomers and veterans.
Winners will have their work published in all 5,000 copies of the Annual that will be printed and distributed to the agency and brand leaders across the globe. They will also receive limited edition Gold, Silver or Bronze Annuals and will be offered Free Pro Creativepool Membership, alongside a highly coveted winner’s badge on their Creativepool profiles.
The final deadline for submissions is set for the 26thof April, followed by the closing of late submissions on the 23rdof May. It all culminates in a glitzy and glamorous Annual Launch Party in the centre of London on the 5th of September, where you can share a drink and your success with hundreds of peers and industry leaders.
Michael Tomes, Founder, Creativepool: “After having such a fantastic 10 year anniversary of The Annual last year, Annual 2024 is all about change. We’ve taken a bit of a controversial step by introducing an AI category this year. From the feedback that we have been getting from our community AI is the one thing that simply terrifies creatives, with many concerned that needs for their skills will be made obsolete sooner rather than later.
“Creativepool takes a more pragmatic approach and see a future where AI and creativity move together. Seeing a world where AI opens up new creative opportunities and let individuals and agencies to achieve things that would be impossible before this new tool.”
